Risperdal Cases

Please be advised that Locks Law Firm is now accepting referrals of Risperdal cases. Risperdal is manufactured by Janssen Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Johnson and Johnson.  It causes Gynecomastia, the growth of breasts, in males.  Risperdal is a mass tort in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.   The criteria of cases worthy of filing is very simple:  Gynecomastia in males which develops during or shortly after usage of Risperdal.  The patent on Risperdal expired in 2008, at which time generics became available. We will review cases where there was only name brand Risperdal usage and also cases with mixed name brand/generic usage. However, due to rulings of the US Supreme Court, we are not presently reviewing cases with generic use only. If you have been contacted by a man who may have been injured by these products, please contact us. For more information please contact Michael Galpern at 856-663-8200 or Michael Leh at 215-893-0100.

Locks Law Firm announces it is handling claims against the manufacturers and distributors of testosterone-based products

Last week the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said it has begun investigating the risk of stroke, heart attack and death in men taking prescription testosterone drugs.

The announcement came on the heels of two recent two studies that suggested an increased risk of heart attacks in men who take testosterone, a hormone produced in the testicles that is responsible for maintaining muscle bulk, bone growth and sexual function, the FDA said. The FDA said it has not concluded that testosterone increases the risk of cardiac events but said it is issuing an alert "while we continue to evaluate the information from these studies and other available data."
