MS. JANET C. WALSH: Our firm represents clients on a national and global level. On a national level, we're sought out by clients based on our expertise in certain areas. We represent plaintiffs in carbon monoxide, in asbestos cases, in traumatic brain injury cases, and we're either found by an individual who's suffered from injuries or we're sought out by another firm in another state for our expertise in a specific area. On a global level, we represent clients from around the world. Particularly with respect to asbestos cases, many men and some women were exposed to asbestos on US ships during World War II and now have cases in the United States based on injuries they've suffered as a result of that exposure. Based on our increased exposure on a global level, we also represent clients who have suffered other injuries while on US soil, in US courts, anything from road traffic accidents to exposures to product liability cases, and again because of our experience in specific areas, we're sought out on an international level as well as on a national level by clients. In addition to that, we have actively advocated on behalf of our clients to allow plaintiffs to pursue cases on an easier basis against foreign manufacturers. It's quite difficult sometimes to assert jurisdiction over foreign corporations, corporations based in China and other places globally, and we have made various efforts on behalf of our clients to make it easier to pursue those kind of cases.
