Background and Experience
Leon Carelli is the Chief Technology Officer for Locks Law Firm. Operating across the firm’s tri-state footprint, Leon drives the technological vision for one of the region’s premier plaintiff’s personal injury firms. His expertise bridges complex legal data operations, modern AI orchestration, and infrastructure management. Throughout his career, Leon has architected massive-scale data solutions, most notably developing the complete database infrastructure for the historic South African gold miners’ litigation—the first class-action settlement in South African legal history.
Currently, Leon leads Locks Law Firm’s adoption of advanced legal technology, training legal teams on the secure, ethical use of AI and building forward-thinking platforms to support complex casework.
Outside the Office
Beyond his technical leadership, Leon is a dedicated civic leader and advocate. He currently serves as the President of the Southampton Township Board of Education and the Vice President of Advocacy for the New Jersey PTA, bringing a practical, systems-level approach to public education governance.
